This will be your first real day in the snow.

Choose from:

  • Skiing or snowboarding
  • Snow tubing
  • Cable car
  • Sky bridge
  • Snow-covered mountain views
  • Beautiful winter photo opportunities

Never skied before? No problem. You can take a lesson with an instructor or simply enjoy the snow, tubing and spectacular mountain scenery.

We stay in the Alamedin Gorge, surrounded by snowy nature and far from the noise of the city.

Enjoy a traditional dinner, relax and experience the peaceful atmosphere of a winter evening in the mountains.

Overnight: Alamedin Gorge

Day 2 — Hot Springs → Burana Tower → Issyk-Kul → Bokonbaevo

After breakfast, we continue our journey through the mountain regions of Kyrgyzstan.

Our first stop is a natural hot spring in Ysyk-Ata gorge where you can relax and warm up surrounded by winter scenery.

Afterwards, we visit Burana Tower, one of Kyrgyzstan’s most important historical monuments and a legacy of the ancient Silk Road.

Here you will see the ancient tower, stone balbals and the remains of a medieval settlement.

We then continue towards the legendary Issyk-Kul Lake.

In winter, the lake looks completely different: vast open landscapes, snowy shores and the towering peaks of the Tian Shan create an unforgettable panorama.

Later in the day, we arrive in Bokonbaevo.

Here we meet a local eagle hunter and discover the ancient Kyrgyz tradition of hunting with golden eagles.

Learn about this unique nomadic tradition and the important role it has played in Kyrgyz culture for centuries.

In the evening, relax in a cozy local guesthouse.

Overnight: Bokonbaevo

Day 3 — Fairytale Canyon → Barskoon → Jeti-Oguz → Karakol

Today we follow one of the most scenic routes in Kyrgyzstan along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake towards Karakol.

Fairytale Canyon (Skazka)

Explore the spectacular red rock formations and unusual canyons shaped by nature over thousands of years.

In winter, the contrast between the white snow and red rocks creates a particularly beautiful landscape.

Barskoon Gorge

We continue towards Barskoon.

Surrounded by high mountains, coniferous forests and snow-covered valleys, this is one of the most scenic areas of the southern Issyk-Kul region.

Depending on weather and road conditions, we can explore some of the most beautiful winter viewpoints and see frozen waterfalls.

Jeti-Oguz

Our next stop is the famous red rock formation known as the Seven Bulls.

It is one of the most recognizable natural landmarks in Kyrgyzstan.

After Jeti-Oguz, we continue to Karakol.

Arrive in the evening, check in and relax.

Overnight: Karakol

The itinerary and order of stops may be adjusted depending on weather, road conditions and available daylight.

Day 4 — Karakol: Skiing in the Tian Shan

Today is dedicated entirely to winter adventure.

After breakfast, we head to Karakol Ski Resort, located high in the mountains among the spectacular peaks of the Tian Shan.

Choose your activity:

  • Skiing
  • Snowboarding
  • Cable car
  • Tubing
  • Boat or kayaking
  • Panoramic mountain views
  • Enjoying the snow and mountain atmosphere
