
This 4-day itinerary combines the quiet forested valley of Chon-Kemin with the wide-open nomadic pastures of Song-Kol Lake. Spend your first days relaxing in a mountain guesthouse, hiking in national park, and riding horses in Chon-Kemin. Then continue to Song-Kol for a full nomadic yurt experience.

Day 1: Bishkek – Chon-Kemin
After breakfast, we start our exciting journey to the charming Chon-Kemin Valley, passing through diverse landscapes.
On the way, we visit the ancient Burana Tower, a fascinating Silk Road monument with a mysterious history.
Then you will admire the dramatic scenery of the Boom Gorge, where the powerful Chu River flows between steep rocky mountains. Here you can taste a delicious traditional Kyrgyz snack — kattama, freshly cooked and full of flavor.
Upon arrival in Chon-Kemin, enjoy an unforgettable horse riding experience through peaceful mountain slopes and scenic valleys — a true taste of nomadic life.

Day 2: Chon-Kemin – Song-Kol
After breakfast, we continue our adventure to the legendary Song-Kol Lake, one of the most beautiful high-mountain lakes in Kyrgyzstan.
Along the way, explore the amazing Kok-Moinok Canyon with its colorful and unique rocky formations.
In Kochkor village, enjoy a home-style lunch prepared from local products and learn about traditional Kyrgyz lifestyle.
Arrival at the pristine Song-Kol Lake — a place of absolute freedom, nomadic culture, wide-open grasslands and peaceful silence of the mountains.
Overnight: Authentic yurt camp on Song-Kol Lake — stargazing guaranteed!
Day 3: Song-Kol – Bokonbaevo
After breakfast, we head towards the beautiful southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
Here you will watch a spectacular eagle hunting show (extra cost 70$) — a breathtaking demonstration of harmony between hunter and magnificent golden eagle.
Enjoy time for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Issyk-Kul — the Pearl of Kyrgyzstan.
Overnight: Comfortable guesthouse or beach hotel right by the lake.
Day 4: Bokonbaevo – Bishkek
After breakfast, we visit the stunning Fairy Tale (Skazka) Canyon, famous for its bright red formations shaped like castles, dragons, and other fantasy creatures.
Next, in Kyzyl-Too village, experience a traditional yurt-making demonstration (extra cost 40$). This village is known as the center of Kyrgyz yurt craftsmanship — more than 80% of locals continue this ancient art.
Driving back, we explore Konorchek Canyon — an impressive natural labyrinth inside the majestic Boom Gorge.
Before returning to Bishkek, we stop at the Hawaii recreation center in Tokmok for delicious local food and a little fun time.
